This college senior cap and gown portrait session was photographed in the beautiful foothills of Prather, California, just outside Clovis. We started with some studio portraits to capture some classic senior portraits, and then we took it outdoors. Spring is one of my favorite times for senior portraits in the Clovis foothills, especially for graduation photos. The green fields, oak trees, and native pines in Prather create a perfect setting for timeless senior portraits. The sun was poking in and out of the rapidly moving clouds, so we had the bonus (err, challenge) of varied lighting.
Charlize is graduating from Barnard College of Columbia University in New York City. She's wildly intelligent, athletic (swimming, water polo, workouts), and, as you can see, gorgeous. She set aside some time while home on winter break to play around here with her cap and gown. Congratulations Charli!! I'm excited to hear more about your choice in grad school.
