There’s something about photographing a young professional outside the usual office setting that gives them a more relaxed and approachable vibe. Don’t get me wrong, there is a time and place for a more formal setup, but we headed to the park for this shoot—and it turned out to be the perfect choice for Darren.
We took a few minutes to simply relax, get to know each other a little bit, and soak in the scenery before getting started. I offered a few posing suggestions, but those in-between moments—the slight smile, the glance away, the ease in his shoulders—captured his personality more than any formal pose could.
