The Arthur family joined me for their first photo shoot in my new photo studio! Outside, it was absolutely pouring rain, but inside was pure magic. They showed up ready to play, full of energy and ready to try anything new—and we all agreed it was hands-down the most fun we've ever had during a photo session.
We started with the classic, polished poses they wanted, with sweet smiles, individual shots, cozy groups, and even a breakout mother-son dance. Once we had those in the bag, we decided to crank up it up and dove straight into a full-on Awkward JCP-style shoot with over-the-top poses, and that cheesy department-store vibe. The laughs were nonstop, and trying to hold that stoic look was difficult, but the results were priceless.
I’m grateful to the Arthurs who return year after year for their family photos, making each session a new adventure. It will be hard to top this one.
