Vintage Style Studio Portraits in Prather, California: Kids Take the Director's Chair
Everyone knows that getting kids to sit still for a traditional studio portrait can be a challenge, but look what happens when you let them take control. During this portrait session in my Prather studio, these two brothers proved that letting them create their own set for their photoshoot was absolute magic.
If you love this look and want to see more examples of my work, feel free to explore my portrait portfolio to view a selection of my favorite images.

Playful Minds, Serious Expressions
The concept for this session relied on a dark, moody backdrop, rich tones, and black movable walls to give some depth to the photos. I laid out a few vintage hats, some fabric, and a few props. They chose what they wanted to use and arranged the set.

It was fun to watch their creativity unfold. One minute they were playfully peeking out from the walls, the next, they were serious actors.
